"terrible twos," the Heart to Heart
Learning Center is available to help.

Heart
to Heart is Heartbeat's free Parent Learning
Center where pregnant women and new mothers
in need learn valuable prenatal, parenting
and life skills.
Best of all, Heart to Heart is an Earn
While You Learn program. This means
that as you complete each lesson, you
earn valuable points. These points can
be used to "buy" items from
our Heart to Heart Baby Boutique open
only to Heart to Heart members.
At the boutique you'll find
just about everything you will
need for your baby, including
cribs, strollers, bassinets,
high chairs, changing tables,
bathtubs, diapers, formula,
wipes, baby clothes up to size
2T and much more.

you join Heart to Heart, you begin by meeting
with a parenting instructor who will work
with you to determine which lessons are
best suited to your needs. The lessons
can begin with the start of your pregnancy
and run through early childhood. Besides
parenting lessons, there are also life
skill programs that help empower you be
the best you can be. |

Even if this isn't your first child, you'll
likely find lessons that will cover topics
you'd like to learn more about and that
will help you become a strong, self-confident
parent.
In addition to getting points for taking
classes, you'll get extra points for being
on time, attending school regularly, earning
good grades, keeping doctors' appointments,
having a job, volunteering and much more.
Although most of our clients are moms or
moms-to-be, the Heart to Heart program
is open to fathers, grandparents and other
family members involved in a baby's life.
